So... I haven't posted in a while. Well I am still actively losing weight. Though there was a short plateau and then a much slower rate of loss. That is pretty normal Whenever you make a dietary change, your body reacts. It then has to readjust. This is the point where most people get discouraged and quit. I go a different route. I continue what I am doing and stop weighing or measuring. Your body will come back into play after it adjusts to the new pattern. My starting weight was 333. My current weight is 297 that is 36 pounds down.
My weight loss after the plateau has been 1-2 pounds a week. I believe that my sedentary lifestyle is the cause. Rather than reduce calories more, I plan on upping my resistance training. to be honest I have really only been walking daily, but now I will be adding weights to the mix.
The Ketogenic diet has been awesome. Because of the lack of Carbs I am rarely hungry nor do I have cravings. I used to be a breadaholic. Not being a slave to sugar addiction has made me a much more productive person because my mind is not looking for the next sugar fix.

February 28 2018 I was standing on stage in Florida when I, on a whim, committed to that audience that a year from that date I would be down 100lbs.
