John Davis is an internationally known speaker, comedian, author and Action Hero. As an international entertainer, John has traveled extensively throughout the world, speaking to audiences of all ages and backgrounds in 28 countries and over four-thousand live performances. John encourages his audiences to set and reach their
highest potentials,and is often invited back as a peak performance coach.
Since the tragic events of September 11, 2001, John has dedicated a great amount of time to bringing entertainment to the soldiers overseas. On six USO tours, John has performed more than one hundred shows and has taken his comedy to even the most remote bases in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He also attended the University of Delaware, studying Architecture. John served as the Entertainment Director of four regional theme parks across the nation, where he developed a reputation for reversing negative trends. With John at the helm of both entertainment and marketing, the parks witnessed growths of up to 60% in a single year's time.
As someone who believes in the concept of "we are all in this together," John has spent a great deal of time giving back to his communities. As a producer of the "Hack and Slash" Christmas special, Baltimore's largest holiday charity event, John was instrumental in funding sixteen global clean water projects, collecting over twenty tons of food and clothing for homeless shelters, sending two cancer patients to Disney World through the Make a Wish foundation, and helping to build a Habitat for Humanity Home. With a personal history with cancer, John also has donated time and efforts helping to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
John is also a highly respected fight director and is a recognized instructor with the International Order of the Sword and Pen, an organization that brings together instructors from around the globe who are renowned in both stage and film.
John is the owner of Corporate Action Hero where he provides keynotes, workshops, and coaching, for individuals and organizations. John has been featured on The Today Show and The Discovery Channel as well a dozen regional broadcasts and radio shows. He is about to release his new book, “Be an Action Hero, NOT a Reaction Zero”
