Action versus theory

When working with clients, employees or students, a defined practical plan of implementable action is the method by which results are achieved. Many Instructors will rely on concepts or theories when coaching or instructing. Though this is a wonderful method of broadening the mind, it does not ever achieve anything until a practical plan is established and implemented. The best coaches worldwide all have programs with specific steps to take to achieve your desired goal or goals. Accountability brings results.

In my work with Actors, students and businessmen, I find that a fun easy atmosphere based in mutual respect and support combined with defined unified goals coupled with a solid measure of accountability. When the team is unified, they hold themselves and each other accountable. The supportive atmosphere allows for many eyes to be aware of each other’s deadlines and when the crunch times come on, they very naturally lend support where needed.
